I left Tyndall early but ended up spending 3+ hours in Beaudejour. I had hoped to make it to West Hawk Lake but ended up stopped at B----- Lake just out of Rennie instead. I'm glad I did it gave me time to repair my tarp as one of the stake out loops got ripped off. It was an easy fix. I also met a Croatian couple who were spending most week-ends at the lake. They invited me to their campfire and while I was fed the most incredible apple cake I have ever tasted. It was more like a pie but the pastry tasted more cake like. It was fabulous.
